Eligible Uses of Emergency Assistance Funds

For qualified applicants, THA provides financial assistance reviews within 48 hours. Funds are not gauranteed. Approved assistance can be used across a range of housing needs from relocation to down payment assistance. Applicants that do not qualify for financial or other assistance will be offered options to connect with partner referrals, and other professional and legal resources.

Relocation Assistance

Cover moving costs, truck rental, storage and other expenses associated with relocating to a new home after foreclosure, eviction or displacement.

Deposit, Rent & Legal Fees

Pay for new landlord security deposits, first month's rent or legal consultation fees to secure your next residence and protect your rights.

Down Payment & Property Transition

Use funds toward a down payment for lease-to-purchase opportunities, or to support a smooth property transition — including estate-related dispositions.

Important: Eligible individuals must be approved for funds. We are not lenders and do not guarantee outcomes or assistance. If you qualify for free services or THA grant funds, they do not need to be repaid. Real estate transacations are not offered under free services.
